Stye™ Eye Therapy Warming Compress

The Stye™ Eye Therapy Warming Compress is a reusable warm compress for the eyes that can be used to help soothe stye symptoms and soothe dry eyes. A compress made of non-toxic, soft-gel beads slides into a reusable, easy-to-clean cover for quick warming in a microwave.

Applying the warm compress for 5-10 minutes 3-6 times a day may:

  • Help styes heal faster
  • Relieve stye symptoms like burning, stinging & itching
  • Soothe dry eyes
  • Help open oil glands to lubricate eyes

Why is my vision blurry after using the warm compress?
Blurred vision is common and temporary after applying a warm compress. This is because the applied heat melts and loosens debris blocking your natural oil glands. The blurriness should only last for up to a few minutes. You may want to splash water on your face, gently massage your eyelids, or clean your eyelids and lashes after with Stye™ Eyelid Cleansing Wipes

If my microwave is low wattage, can I heat the compress for more than 20 seconds?
No. Place covered compress in microwave oven for 10 seconds on high. Test temperature on the back of your hand or other body part to determine if the compress is too hot before use. If necessary, reheat for an additional 5 second interval and test temperature again until desired temperature is reached; however, do not exceed 20 seconds total heating time per use.

How many times can I use the warming eye compress before throwing out?
You can use the product as directed until its expiration date or sooner if it becomes damaged. You may rewarm the compress 3 to 6 times per day. Inspect the compress before and after each use to ensure the compress is not damaged. Do not use if the compress tears or if beads or liquid leak out.

Can I use more than one Stye™ product to help relieve stye symptoms?

Yes! For example, you can use Stye™ eye wipes to clean your eyes and then add Stye™ ointment or eye drops. A few times a day, you can also use the warming compress to soothe irritation and unblock lubricating oil glands for a quick refresh.
